Job description, responsibilities and duties
Assembly and disassembly of molds and tools:

Assembly and disassembly of molds and other specialized tools used in production.
Ensurment of the tool's correct assembly according to technical drawings and specifications.

Maintenance and repair of tools:
Regular maintenance of existing molds and tools.
Identifying and analyzing tool wear or damage, suggesting fixing measures such as grinding, milling or Edm, part replacement or modification of mold parts.
Performing repairs including fine-tuning, grinding and replacement of defective.

Quality control and measurement:
Measuring and inspecting mold and tool components to ensure compliance with required tolerances and specifications.
Using measuring instruments such as micrometres and callipers to ensure that tools are within tolerances.

Reading the technical specification:
Interpret and understand technical drawings and CAD models to ensure proper assembly, disassembly and repair of tools.
Reporting of any deviations from drawings or specifications and suggesting tooling design improvements.

Troubleshooting:
Troubleshooting of tools that do not perform as expected and analyzing the cause of problems.
Identifying and resolving tooling issues.
Collaboration with manufacturing and engineering departments to identify areas for improvement and optimization of tool and mold performance.
